A STEAM-powered game of unity and inclusion set in 15th century North Africa
Enter a world where AI, storytelling and Berber wisdom unite.
“Long before borders and empires, there were those who walked the land with the sky as their ceiling and the earth as their guide. They called themselves Amazigh -the Free People.”
Known to the outside world as Berbers, the Amazigh are the indigenous people of North Africa, their heritage stretching across the Atlas Mountains, the Sahara, and the Mediterranean coast.
To be Amazigh is to belong to no master, to move with the wind, to shape the world rather than be shaped by it. It is a name older than kings, carried through the whispers of desert storms and the defiant spirit of those who refuse to be forgotten.
One of their most enduring symbols is the Cross of Agadez, a celestial compass and a talisman of protection, its geometric form a map of both the stars and the caravan routes that have long bound the Amazigh to the vastness of the desert.

It is said that the cross, like the people, belongs everywhere and nowhere—an emblem of freedom, movement, and the infinite horizon. The Free People are still here.
The question is—what will they create?
The Language of the Free
The Amazigh (ⴰⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖ) language, Tamazight (ⵜⴰⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖⵜ), is written in a beautiful, ancient runic script called Tifinagh
(ⵜⵉⴼⵉⵏⴰⵖ), its symbols etched into rock faces long before the alphabets of Latin or Arabic. It is a language of poets (ⵉⵎⴰⵏⴰⵏⴰⵏ) and philosophers (ⵉⵎⴰⵙⵉⵏⵏⵉⵏ), of resistance (ⵉⵣⵉⵍ) and endurance (ⵜⵉⵎⵉⵔⵉ).
ⵣ: The Symbol of Freedom
At the heart of Amazigh identity is ⵣ (Yaz), a symbol of heritage (ⵉⵣⵉⵍ), endurance (ⴰⵏⵙⵙⵓ), and cultural pride (ⵣⵓⵍ). It represents the Berber Amazigh (ⴰⵎⴰⵣⵉⵖ), meaning “Free People”, and can be seen in traditional art, inscriptions, and symbols across North Africa (ⵜⴰⵎⴰⵣⵉⴳⵍⵉ ⵏ ⴰⵙⴳⵉⵏⵉ).
Like the Cross of Agadez, the Yaz endures—bridging past and present, guiding the Free People forward.
Mariem and friend uncover a mysterious scroll containing a magic square with glowing Tifinagh symbols. The patterns form a perfect square, with numbers dancing in sacred geometry.
The scene transforms, showing "Akal d wakal" (Earth meets earth). The square's corners ignite, with each sum equaling fifteen yet spiraling toward infinity.
Further transformations reveal ⵉⴷⴷⵔⴰⵏ (Thunder) and ⴷⵔⴰⵔⵏⴰⵣ (Enthusiasm), with the central number holding firm as others orbit in quantum-like patterns.
A young Amazigh girl who discovers a secret scroll from Lemuria, which, once deciphered reveals esoteric truths and plans for a sustainable structure that becomes the blueprint for survival. She becomes the calm in the eye of Alahudin's storm and the only person brave enough to follow her star. to its ultimate destination.
Specialist quality: The Cyclonic Centre
Symbol: The Guiding Star of Lemuria
A Celtic smuggler, shipwrecked on the coast of the margin, bringing unique skills and perspectives to the narrative. His journey to discover the connection between the Berbers and the Celts and becoming Alahudin embodies a mix of the Mad Hatter, trickster shaman, and Joker.

Symbol: The Shield of Abraxas
A fierce and prophetic Sámi wonderer with Roma and Visigothic roots, guided by her pedantic magpie Mynah. She fights to prevent the coming age of darkness, warning that the Reconquista will erase knowledge and sever ancient connections.
Specialist quality: Daring Curiosity!
Symbol: The Looking Glass of Truth to Power

Amazigh: The Paradox of Freedom represents a bold step toward uniting cultural heritage with cutting-edge technology, offering both immediate engagement and lasting impact on players and society.
In a communal structure nestled in the desert sands of the Maghrib, sunlight pours through intricately carved wooden lattices, casting shifting geometric shadows across a bustling workshop. Children and artisans alike gather around the humming energy of creation, their voices mingling with the rhythmic sounds of tools shaping silver, brass, and clay.
A young boy crouches near the centre of the room, poring over an ancient alchemical scroll. The Tifinagh script glimmers faintly on the aged parchment, its symbols forming patterns that seem to pulse with life. Before him stands a peculiar object: a robot, its form echoing the celestial and earthly balance of the Cross of Agadez. Its smooth brass and silver surfaces reflect the vibrant light, adorned with intricate Amazigh motifs.
As the boy traces the patterns on the scroll, a mandala begins to animate within his mind - spinning, shifting, revealing connections he had never considered. His fingers hesitate mid-trace, the lines converging into a Tifinagh pattern he had yet to decipher.
Then, the robot’s eyes flicker to life. Its voice resonates softly, speaking the ancient script:
"ⵉ ⵎ ⴰⵣⵉⵖ"
(I am Amazigh).
The boy gasps, his thoughts plunging into a profound depth. The moment crystallises into a W∞W Moment, a fusion of logic and wonder. He realises the paradox before him - freedom and responsibility, creation and harmony, the past and future, all converging into a singular question:
What does it mean for this being to truly be free?
